Simpson delivers seven new top-10 marks at Dutch Weather Saver meet

PELLA, Iowa - Simpson delivered a standout meet with multiple top-10 marks highlighted by Lathan McDaniel's No. 2 all-time hammer throw and James Johnson's fourth-fastest 1500m at the WeatherSaver 2.0 meet.

MEET HIGHLIGHTS

Two new top-10 marks were set in the hammer, led by Lathan McDaniel's mark of 46.57m, placing him second overall in school history. Will Whalen added his name to the list, placing 10th all-time at 41.98m.
James Johnson continued his dominant track campaign, setting the fourth fastest time in school history in the 1500m race at 3:53.71 minutes.
Cole White took second overall in the discus with his throw of 49.39m, marking the fourth best performance in school history.
Other notable top-10 marks include Ethan Haus in the 800m (1:54.59), Rouce Sayee in the 400m hurdles (53.59), and Brogan Ewing in the long jump (6.82m).
