Simpson throwers set three new top-10 marks at Loras Easter mid week meet
DUBUQUE, Iowa - Both Storm men's and women's throwers competed at the Loras Easter mid week meet, with three three new top-10 marks being set on the day.
MEET HIGHLIGHTS
David Souvongsavath continued to move up the top-10 list in the shot put, setting a new personal best at 15.40m which ranks fifth in program history. Souvongsavath also recorded the highest finish of the day for the Storm, placing fifth in the discus.
Sophie Simon led the Storm on the women's side of action the hammer with a mark of 37.13m. Maddy Berg placed 10th all-time in program history with her mark of 35.58m in the hammer.
Cole White beat his own personal record in the discus, placing ninth all-time in school history at 44.33m.
