Storm sprinters deliver strong showing at Trinity Invitational
SAN ANTONIO - Kendrick Achebe won the 100m dash, along with the second fastest 4x100 relay in school history, highlighted Simpson's performance at the Trinity Invitational on Friday.
MEET HIGHLIGHTS
Kendrick Achebe took home the individual crown in the 100m dash, winning the event at 10.60 seconds out of 40 sprinters.
The 4x100 relay team made up of Joseph Sams, Jrakke Johnson, Adonis McKenzie, and Achebe achieved the second fastest time in school history, finishing in 41.58 seconds.
McKenzie and Johnson earned new top-10 marks in the 400m with McKenzie placing eighth in school history and Johnson tenth.
