James Johnson qualifies for NCAA Indoor Championships
INDIANOLA, Iowa - James Johnson will have an opportunity to compete for a national title, being selected in the mile for the NCAA Indoor Championships on Sunday night.
Johnson was the lone Storm to earn a spot in the field, placing 12th in the seeding in the indoor mile with a time of 4:07.10 minutes. Competing with Johnson from the A-R-C in the event will be Wartburg's Solomon Zaugg and Central's Jack Brown in a field of 20 athletes.
Johnson heads to host site Birmingham, Alabama and will compete on Friday, March 13 at 2:50 p.m. CDT with live results available on ncaa.com and simpsonathletics.com.
