Leggett shines in the 3000m; Storm compete at the Cyclone Open

AMES, Iowa - Cole Leggett clocked the second fastest time in Simpson history in the 3000m race as the Storm traveled to Iowa State for the Cyclone Open on Friday.

MEET HIGHLIGHTS

Cole Leggett moved himself up to second fastest in school history in the 3000m race, clocking in at 8:31.90 minutes, and tied for the Storm's highest finish of the day at seventh.
James Johnson recorded the fifth fastest mile time in program history, finishing the race at 4:15.49 minutes.
Jrakke Johnson also earned his spot in the school top ten lists, placing seventh all-time in the 400m at 49.75 seconds.
