Men's Track and Field wins three events at Darren Young Classic

GRINNELL, Iowa - Simpson claimed three top of the podium performances as the Storm traveled to the Darren Young Classic, hosted by Grinnell on Saturday.

MEET HIGHLIGHTS

  • Cole Leggett earned the eighth fastest time in program history in the 5000m race with his time of 14:58.62 minutes. Leggett has now earned top-10 marks in the 3000m and 5000m this indoor season.
  • Collin Kessler stole the show on Friday night, winning the mile with a time of 4:24.50 minutes.
  • The 4x400 relay team consisting of Jrakke Johnson, Joseph Sams, Jacob Zeh, and Adonis McKenzie won the event by over two seconds with a time of 3:22.58.
