Achebe and McDaniel set big marks at Grinnell Invitational

GRINNELL, Iowa - Kendrick Achebe once again set the new school record in the 60m dash while Lathan McDaniel eclipsed the 16-meter mark in the weight throw at the Grinnell Invitational on Saturday.

MEET HIGHLIGHTS

Achebe continued to set the fastest mark in school history in the 60m dash, this time beating his own record by 0.01 of a second to take second overall.
Lathan McDaniel gained ground on the school record in the weight throw, becoming only the second Storm over to break the 16-meter mark at 16.43.
Joseph Sams in the 200m, and the Storm's performance in the DMR and 4x400 relays claimed the three first place finishes on the day for Simpson.
