Cooper claims school records in the 60 and 200 at the Iowa Open
IOWA CITY, Iowa - Emma Cooper added not one but two school records to her achievements this indoor season to highlight Simpson's day at the Iowa open.
MEET HIGHLIGHTS
- Emma Cooper continued to rack up school records, not only beating her own record once again in the 60m but also in the 200m.
- Cooper eclipsed her own record in the 60m by 0.01 of a second, finishing at 7.76 seconds, and her 25.71 mark in the 200m beat out Maddie Hays' mark set in 2024.
- Jrakke Johnson set the fourth fastest time in the 200m dash with a time of 22.43 seconds. Kendrick Achebe took 10th in the 60m dash and Joseph Sams finished eighth in the 200m.
