Amina and Achebe notch pair of second-place finishes for Storm men's track and field
DES MOINES, Iowa - Led by two second place finishes for Kendrick Achebe and Johny Amina in their respective events, the Storm men's track and field split action at both the Jim Duncan Invite and the UW-Platteville Invite on Friday.
MEET HIGHLIGHTS
- Kendrick Achebe took home a silver finish in the highly contested 100m dash with a time of 10.52 seconds.
- Johny Amina also grabbed a silver finish in the high jump, finishing with a best mark of 1.95m.
- Brenden Godbout placed fourth overall in the 400m hurdles with a time of 54.00 seconds.
- The 4x100 relay team of Eli Fox, Joseph Sams, Daniel Pere, Adonis McKenzie placed fourth overall in the event, finishing with a time of 42.62 seconds.
