Trio compete in Heptathlon at Central Multi Meet

PELLA, Iowa - Ulysses Patterson and Clarke Latcham nearly eclipsed their own school records, while Jeret Petersen added his name to the record books as the three represented Simpson at the Central Multi on Friday.

Competing over two days, Patterson paced the trio with his fourth place finish at 4821 points, while Latcham earned fifth at 4607 points, and Petersen finished eighth at 3878 points. While Patterson and Latcham finished just shy of their own school records, Petersen's mark placed him eighth overall in school history in the heptathlon.
