Amina and Truitt earn first place marks as Storm compete at the Darren Young Classic

GRINNELL, Iowa - Corbin Truitt and Johny Amina won their respective events of 800m and high jump as the Storm men's track team took third overall at the Darren Young Classic on Saturday.

MEET HIGHLIGHTS

• Corbin Truitt broke the 2-minute mark in the 800m race, finishing with a time of 1:58.57 to claim the event title.
• Johny Amina won the high jump with his top mark of 1.94m, nearly breaking his own personal record of 1.96m in the event.
• Ulysses Patterson took home second overall in the long jump, earning a mark of 6.53m.
