Storm softball earns 23 NFCA All-America Scholar Athletes; 15th on team GPA ranking
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Twenty-three members of the Simpson softball program were recognized, along with the team, as National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-America Scholar Athletes on Thursday.
Every student-athlete was eligible for the NFCA All-America Scholar Athlete list provided they achieved a GPA of 3.5 or higher. As a team, the Storm finished 15th overall in the country for all of Division III with a GPA of 3.741, marking the highest finish of any American Rivers Conference team, along with the most individual selections of any A-R-C member.
For Simpson, the 23 selections marked the fourth straight season with 20 or more.
