- Ashlyn Steen led off the fifth with a single, and moved to third on a stolen base and throwing error to set up Alexis Ehlers, who drove in the first run of the day on a sacrifice fly to left.
- A double from Mackenzie James in the seventh scored Megan Heidelbauer to tie up the game in the bottom of the seventh to force extra innings.
- The two sides went back and forth before Coe finally managed to break through in the 10th inning with a six-run frame.
- The Storm mounted a comeback attempt, picking up three runs and bringing the tying run to the plate before falling 8-5 in extras.
