Storm knocks off Finlandia in three sets

RIPON, Wis. — Cassie Hoefling led the team with 12 kills, Ariana Martinez had 14 digs and the Simpson volleyball team defeated Finlandia 3-0 in the opening night of the Ripon Quadrangular on Friday.

The Storm (5-5) hit a season high .308 on the night while not allowing the Lions (3-12) a set. After day one of the Ripon Quadrangular, Simpson (1-0) sits tied for first with Ripon College (1-0).
