CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – Tim Dunlavy (Bettendorf, Iowa/Bettendorf) turned in his fourth-consecutive double-double but Coe erased a six-point, second half deficit in a 76-62 win Saturday afternoon at Eby Fieldhouse.

Dunlavy scored a team-high 21 points and pulled down 13 rebounds for the Storm (6-18, 3-12 IIAC), who were seeking their third win in a row.

Dan Borngraeber scored a game-high 22 points to lead Coe (4-19, 2-12).

Trailing by as much as 15 in the first half, Simpson mounted a 19-3 run – including scoring 15 unanswered – eventually taking a six-point lead with 12:43 remaining in the game.

After a jumper from Dunlavy gave Simpson a 49-43 lead, the Kohawks scored 10 unanswered over the next six minutes, taking a four-point lead.

Dunlavy ended the Coe run with a jumper, bringing Simpson within a bucket at 53-51.

But another run by Coe put the game out of reach and the Kohawks hit 11 free throws down the stretch.
