Thomas tabbed A-R-C Pitcher of the Week

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – For the third straight week, the American Rivers Conference Pitcher of the Week honor belongs to a Storm pitcher, as junior Charlie Thomas was selected after his outing at Coe.

Thomas tossed eight scoreless innings in Simpson's 5-0 win over the Kohawks, allowing just six hits and one walk while striking out a career-high 11 batters. The right-hander allowed just one extra-base hit to lead the Storm to their first conference victory of the season. Thomas improved to 4-0 on the year with the victory.

Thomas joins Easton Dunwoody (March 16) and Jack Shaffer (March 23) as Storm pitchers to earn the weekly honor this season.

Simpson hosts Nebraska Wesleyan tomorrow night at 6 p.m.
