Simpson lands 33 on A-R-C All-Academic Winter Team

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – Thirty-three Simpson College student-athletes from winter sports programs have been named to the 2025-26 American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) All-Academic Team, recognizing their combined excellence in the classroom and in competition.

Women's wrestling led Simpson with 10 selections, while women's basketball followed closely behind with nine. Men's swim and dive added five, men's basketball and dance each tallied three, dance totaled two and men's wrestling had one.

To be eligible for A-R-C All-Academic Team honors, a student-athlete must be on the eligibility list for the sport of nomination, be at least a sophomore in academic standing with at least one year in residence, and attain an accumulative grade point average of 3.5 or better (on a 4.0 scale).
