A former NCAA Division I setter with ties to Simpson, Sarah Schuster begins her third season on the Storm coaching staff in 2013.

Schuster came to Simpson after spending three seasons as a volunteer assistant at her alma-mater, Drake University. A 2008 graduate of Drake, Schuster was the starting setter for the Bulldogs from 2004-07.

An experienced club and camp coach, Schuster currently teaches third grade at Irving Elementary School in Indianola. She also serves as the freshman and sophomore club volleyball coach and begins her eighth season with the Johnston Volleyball Club. Schuster has led the Indianola High School volleyball camps as well as the middle school and high school summer camps at Drake.

Schuster is the older sister of former Simpson player Amy Schuster, who earned all-conference honors three times in her career from 2007-10.
