Bio
A former Big 12 standout and professional player, Lacey Woolf enters her second season as an assistant women’s soccer coach for the Storm in 2013.
Woolf currently serves as an assistant coach for the girls team at Ankeny High School, a position she has held since 2011. She helped the Hawks to a Class 3A State Championship in 2011 and a runner-up finish in 2012. She is also a coach for the Johnston/Urbandale Soccer Club.
Woolf started her collegiate career at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where she helped the Cornhuskers to a Big 12 Conference Championship and an NCAA Sweet 16 appearance in 2000. She then transferred to the University of Kansas, where she won three letters and helped the Jayhawks to two NCAA Tournament appearances, including a trip to the Sweet 16 in 2003.
After her collegiate career, Woolf played in the USL W-League for four seasons. She started out with the Kansas City Mystics in 2001 and 2002 and added stops with the Chicago Blues (2003) and the Arizona Heatwave (2004).
