Simpson to host 5K Balloon Challenge Road Race

The Simpson cross country programs will host the 2011 5K Balloon Road Race Challenge on July 29 at 7 p.m. The race begins East of Bill Buxton Stadium and follows a flat, L-shaped course which finishes on the Simpson campus. All proceeds support the Storm cross country program.

Date: Friday, July 29
Time: 7 p.m.
Location: East of Buxton Stadium on the campus of Simpson College
Registration Cost: $20 before July 22; $25 after July 22
Registration Deadline: Walk-ups will be accepted from 5-6:30 p.m. the day of the race
Awards: Medals to the top three in each age group and trophies to the top three men and women

*All entries receive a t-shirt and a one day admission to the National Balloon Classic.
