Simpson voted ninth in USTFCCCA regional ranking
NEW ORLEANS - Led by a young exciting core of runners, the Simpson women's cross country team is already turning heads, earning ninth in the first United States Track and Field & Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) regional rankings on Tuesday.
To begin the year, Simpson took first place at the Bill Buxton Invitational before earning a third place mark at the Les Duke Invite over the previous weekend. Simpson was one of only three A-R-C schools represented in the ranking, alongside Wartburg and Central. The Storm take the upcoming weekend off before traveling to the Dutch Open in Pella on Friday, Sept. 26 for their next action.
