Simpson finishes top 25 at NCWWC Championships

CORALVILLE, Iowa – No. 10 Keeley Kehrli wrapped up Simpson's performance at the NCWWC Championships on Saturday, falling one win shy of All-American honors as the Storm tied for 24th as a team.

Kehrli advanced to day two of the tournament after reaching the quarterfinals on Friday, marking the furthest any Simpson wrestler has gone at the national level. She moved to the consolation bracket after a tough loss to eventual runner-up Kaylynn Albrecht (McKendree) and was eliminated in the first consolation round on Saturday.

Kehrli finishes her sophomore campaign with a 34-8 record, joining fellow national qualifiers Paige Gershmel (39-11) and Annelise Obermark (32-6) with 30+ wins this season. She sits atop Simpson's career wins leaderboard with 57 victories.

Simpson athletes visit Lasik Iowa and Lasik Omaha doctors for annual checkups.
