Simpson Volleyball earns 18th straight AVCA Team Academic Award
LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Simpson Volleyball team has once again been recognized for its commitment in the classroom, earning the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award for the 18th consecutive season.
The Storm have now received the honor 20 times in program history, given annually to teams that maintain a year-long grade point average of 3.3 or higher. Simpson's 18-year streak is tied for the 9th-longest active streak in NCAA Division III.
Over 1,400+ collegiate and high school programs were honored this year by the AVCA for academic excellence.
