Storm men's tennis comes up short in tough battle with Dubuque
NORWALK, Iowa - Simpson men's tennis faced a tough battle with A-R-C opponent Dubuque, falling in straight sets on Friday night.
In singles play, the Storm battled across the lineup, highlighted by a strong effort from Seth Orta at No. 3, who pushed his match to a second-set tiebreak before falling in straight sets. Darek Kayser and Blane Wallace each had competitive first sets at their respective positions but were unable to carry momentum through.
Doubles action saw Simpson's top pair of Grant Love and Hudson Christie put together the closest contest of the day, dropping a tight 7-5 decision at No. 1.
