Love and Orta earn wins as Simpson men's tennis falls to Crown
OWATONNA, Minn. - Singles wins from Grant Love and Seth Orta highlighted Simpson's 5-2 loss to Crown on Thursday to start a three-match road trip for the Storm.
Simpson (2-5) began the day winning one of the three doubles matches as Darek Kayser and Henry Godar defeated their pairing 6-4.
In the singles, Grant Love picked up the win knocking off Crown's David Comings 6-3. 6-4 in the number one slot. Seth Orta, playing the three slot, rallied back to defeat Dawson Richardson 6-2, 4-6, 10-8 to give Simpson two points on the day. Reid Jackson took a game off his opponent before falling in the tiebreaker 11-9.
