Brink tops Storm scorecard at Kohawk Invitational

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa - The Simpson women's golf team tee'd off the 2025 season in strong fashion, taking fifth overall at the Kohawk Invitational on Sunday.

Led by strong consistent play by Addison Brink, the Storm placed fifth out of ten teams, including wins over four fellow A-R-C schools in Coe, Loras, Central, and Luther. Brink paced Simpson with her 81 and 82 performances, highlighted by three birdies, finishing 25th overall out of 69 golfers.

Tessa Rounds finished second on the team just two strokes behind Brink after carding two birdies in the second round. Kristen Roe saw a four-stroke improvement in the second round, the largest of the day for any Storm while Kaylin Long and Laura Klaessy combined for three birdies to round out the card.
