Storm hold strong in latest USTFCCCA regional ranking

NEW ORLEANS - The Simpson women's cross country team held their spot in the latest United States Track and Field & Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCA) regional poll, earning eighth on Tuesday.

There was no movement in the top eight slots of the poll, with Illinois Wesleyan joining the mix, and Aurora falling one spot to ten. The Storm are coming off another impressive showing, taking home the team title at the Brissman-Lundeen Invitational last weekend. Led by A-R-C Runner of the Week, Teghan Booth and her second place finish, the Storm featured seven of the top 25 runners in a competitive field of 101 runners.

Simpson makes one last stop in the regular season, traveling to Nebraska for the Platte River Rumble on Friday, October 18.
