Storm compete at Monmouth Invite
MONMOUTH, Ill. - Audrey Bramlett continued to shine to begin her Storm career, taking second in both the 200 IM and 100 Butterfly as Simpson competed at the Monmouth invite on Saturday.
Bramlett anchored the Storm's efforts on the afternoon beginning with the third leg of the 200 medley relay that took fifth overall. Bramlett continued with a second place finish in the 200 IM with a time of 2:19.68 minutes, followed by another second place showing in the 100 Butterfly at 1:05.25. Her day was not over yet as Bramlett wrapped up with a fourth place finish in the 100 Backstroke with a time of 1:04.34.
Allison Robinson put together a solid showing, starting with the anchor spot in the 200 Medley relay, followed by fifth place finishes in the 200 free, and 500 free.
Overall, Simpson placed fifth out of six teams with a total score of 123, edging out opponent North Central by 27 points.
