Four women’s golfers named WGCA All-American Scholars

INDIANOLA, Iowa – Four members of the Simpson College women's golf team were named to the 2021-22 Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholar Team on Tuesday.

Hannah Mulligan and Averi Peck received recognition for the second year in a row, while Taylor Elam and Madeline Streicher earned the honor for the first time in their careers.

To qualify for the WGCA All-American Scholar Team, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50. A total of 1,485 women's collegiate golfers were recognized with this prestigious honor.

The Storm women's golf team posted a 3.618 GPA as a unit during the 2021-22 academic year, which was third-highest in the Simpson athletic department.
