Storm take second in first away meet of the season
OSKALOOSA, Iowa – The Storm spent their weekend in Oskaloosa to compete in the William Penn Invitational. The Storm finished second in trap, fourth in skeet, and second in sporting. Overall, Simpson finished in second place behind William Penn.
Jordan Fisher and Wyatt Shoaf tied for the best score for the Storm this weekend, both shooting a 275. Carson Cummings and Tyler Tucker weren't far behind with 273 each for the pair.
In trap, Gavin Blythe tied for fifth place with a score of 98, the highest of the Storm. In skeet, Jordan Fisher tied for eighth place, earning a score of 98, and leading in that category for Simpson. The standout performance of the day was Wyatt Shoaf's third place finish in the sporting category where he shot a 92.
