Simpson places 18 on ECAC All-Academic Team

DANBURY, Conn. – For the second year in a row, 18 Simpson College men's gymnasts earned a spot on the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) All-Academic Team.

For the third time in their careers, Alex Catchpole, Christopher Duane, Sterling Pariza, Ethan Sipos, Milo Staley and Jake Sweeten all earned the distinction for their efforts in the classroom.

Jack Campbell, Noah Koos, Cody Midboe, Brian Rollison, Christian Romero, Eric Simon, and Brennan Voss all achieved the award for the second time, while Alex Campbell, Sean Davidson, Ethan Drake, Braxton Jones, and Tristan Shorey were first-time honorees.

To be eligible for the team, student-athletes must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better. Freshman and first-year student-athletes must have achieved a 3.0 GPA in the fall semester.
