Simpson closes regular season at Last Chance Invite

PELLA, Iowa – Seven members of the Simpson College men's wrestling team returned to Pella on Friday to compete in the Last Chance Invitational.

Isaiah Burney placed fourth at 141 pounds, highlighted by winning a high-scoring affair against Kameron Palmer of Northland Community and Technical College in the quarterfinals.

Trey Kellow fell early in the day but bounced back with a dominant 18-1 win followed by a pin over Nebraska Wesleyan's Logan Hede to claim fifth place. Trace Goemaat claimed sixth at 285 pounds, tallying two pins along the way.
