2025-26 Cheer Tryouts

Thank you for your interest in trying out for our 2026-2027 squad! Tryout details are below. If you wish to register for tryouts, please submit your information to the link HERE.

Tryout Details:

1. Date: Saturday, April 12, 2026
2. Check-in: 8:30 a.m.
3. Address: Cowles Fieldhouse, 701 North C Street, Indianola, Iowa, 50125

Simpson College Cheerleading Tryout Requirements:

Incoming & Transfer Students:
1. Be accepted to Simpson College.
2. Possess sufficient physical fitness, strength, and athletic skill to perform the activities associated with competitive and sideline cheerleading.
3. Carry health/hospitalization insurance.
4. Complete all required try out forms.

Current Simpson Students:
1. Hold an overall GPA of 2.0 or above.
2. Not be on disciplinary probation.
3. Possess sufficient physical fitness, strength and athletic skills to perform the activities associated with competitive and sideline cheerleading.
4. Carry health/hospitalization insurance.
5. Complete all required try out forms.
