21 named to IIAC Winter all-Academic Team
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – Twenty-one Simpson student-athletes competing in winter sports earned a spot on the 2015-16 Iowa Conference All-Academic Team.
To be eligible for IIAC All-Academic Team honors a student-athlete must compete at the varsity level, be at least a sophomore in academic standing and sustain a 3.5 or better cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale).
The men's basketball team led the way with eight selections, followed by the women's basketball team with seven. Women's swimming had four, and men's swimming and wrestling had one each.
