Ryan Willis enters his thid season as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator for the Storm in 2026.

Willis was a three-year letterwinner for the Storm, playing in 70 games across four seasons. He tallied 51 hits, 37 runs and 15 RBIs while in Simpson uniform.

Along with coaching the Storm, Willis coached six seasons at Waverly Shell Rock High School from 2020-25. He assisted with hitting, infield play, and baserunning. The Go-Hawks advanced to the state tournament in 2021 and won back-to-back NEIC Championships in 2022 and 2023. 

The Waverly, Iowa native earned a spot on the All-American Rivers Conference Academic Team two times and graduated cum laude with a degree in management and sports administration in 2023.
