INDIANOLA, Iowa – Simpson volleyball player Tabitha Blaser earned Honorable Mention All-Iowa Conference honors for her performance during the 2013 season.
A sophomore outside hitter from Forest City, Iowa, Blaser was Simpson's primary attacking threat. She led the team and ranked fifth in the conference with 349 kills while compiling more than 1,000 total attempts. She was named to the all-tournament team at the season opening New York University Labor Day Invitational.
Blaser takes home the honorable mention nod for the second year in a row. She helped the Storm to a five-match turnaround in 2013 and the program's first trip to the IIAC Tournament since 2010.
Simpson finished the season 17-14 overall and 2-5 in the Iowa Conference, good for a tie for sixth in the league.
