CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa -- The Simpson men's and women's swimming and diving teams concluded the final day of competition at the Liberal Arts Championships on Saturday at Coe.
Alyssa Harris garnered her second top-five finish at the event. Harris hit the wall in fifth in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:22.46. The mark was her season-best in the event. Sarah Prendergast earned eighth place in the 100-yard freestyle and Cassie Bergman finished in 15th.
For the men, the quartet of Ryan Gaumer, James McKee, Sam Law and Blake Kakacek swam a 3:39.03 for eighth in the 400-yard relay. Gaumer also competed in the 100-yard freestyle and Law swam in the 1650-yard freestyle for the Storm.
