Bosworth turned in the most exciting match of the night for the Storm (0-2). Wrestling for the first time in his collegiate career, Bosworth looked to be cruising toward a major decision at 184 pounds. Leading 20-9 with the final seconds of the third period ticking away, Bosworth put Zach Kraus on his back and got the pin with just 3 seconds left.
Scott continued the momentum at 197, dominating DeMarco Mosley from the opening whistle. Scott finished the match in just 44 seconds for his second pin of the season.
Gioffredi gave Simpson an early 6-4 lead at 133 pounds, pinning Dylan Wheeler at the 1:21 mark in the first period. The junior transfer moves to 2-0 on the season.
The Storm go to the Luther Open for their first tournament of the season this Saturday, Nov. 11. Start time is set for 9 a.m. in Decorah, Iowa.
