Storm fall to Central in season's final dual

PELLA, Iowa - The Simpson wrestling team closed out the 2011-12 dual season with a 37-12 loss to Central on Thursday night.

Cory Stratton and Jared Bevins picked up wins for the Storm (6-14, 1-8 Iowa Conference).

Stratton pinned Reid Imerman in 1:40 at 165 pounds, putting Simpson on the board. Jared Bevins added the final six points at 197 pounds, pinning Dan Gordon in 4:38.

Next up for Simpson is the Iowa Conference Tournament on Feb. 24 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
