  • Bob Nutgrass appointed Athletic Director

    Simpson College President Jay Simmons announced Wednesday that Bob Nutgrass, a long-time staff member and current assistant athletic director, will become the college’s next Athletic Director. He replaces Brian Niemuth, who has held the role for the past five years in addition to serving as the head women’s basketball coach.

    Simpson senior Noreen Morrow earned first team honors for the second straight season to highlight the Storm’s three selections to the 2018 All-Iowa Conference Women’s Basketball Team, as voted on by the league’s nine head coaches. Sophomore Jenna Taylor and freshman Victoria Hazard earned honorable mention honors.
