INDIANOLA, Iowa — The Simpson softball team's weekend schedule has been altered due to the threat of inclement weather. Rather than playing a pair of games in Pella, the Storm will now host Saint Benedict in a doubleheader Saturday, March 25 beginning at 4 p.m.
With rain in the forecast for Friday and early Saturday, the decision was made to move the games from a city park in Pella to Simpson Softball Complex, as the facility in Pella doesn't have a tarp. The Storm were originally scheduled to play Saint Benedict and Bethel in Pella on Saturday morning as part of the Central Tournament.
Live stats and live audio will be available for both games on SimpsonAthletics.com.
