Run, walk, and support two great causes by registering for the 2014 Balloon Challenge 5k Cross Country Race on Saturday, Aug. 2.
For the first time, the Simpson College cross country program is joining forces with the National Balloon Classic to host the Balloon Challenge 5k Cross Country Race, which will be held at the Balloon Field in Indianola.
With the race set to begin at 8:30 a.m., runners will enjoy a breathtaking view of Indianola's famed hot air balloons as they begin their morning ascent. The race promises to be unlike any other in the Midwest!

$25 for adults, $22 for Capital Striders member, $20 for students
Trophies to the top three finishers, both male and female; medals to the top two finishers in each age group
13 & under; 14-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-plus
Entry fee includes a t-shirt and two (2) admission tickets to the National Balloon Classic on Saturday, Aug. 2. Evening features include: Iowa Wine Night, Bob Pace Band & The Dangerous Band performing live on the Classic Stage, Balloon Flight and the Fantastic Fireworks Display.
