DES MOINES, Iowa -- Dylan Kalinay posted one of the top-time in school history in the 100-meter dash and won the 110-meter hurdles to lead the Simpson men's track and field team at the Jim Duncan Invitational on Friday at Drake Stadium.
• Fresh off posting Division III's No. 3 time in the 110 hurdles, Dylan Kalinay won the event Friday just .01 seconds slower than his time Thursday at Iowa's Musco Twilgiht. He turned in a fourth-place finish in the 100, running a personal-best 10.77 seconds. The time is the fifth-fastest in school history and ranks 11th in Division III.
• Josh Dietrich won the javelin throw for the third time in as many meets.
• Jonathan Facio led three, top-ten finishers in the 3,000-meter steeplechase. He finished second in 9:48.11, a whopping 42-seconds quicker than his previous collegiate-best.
