INDIANOLA, Iowa -- The Simpson men's tennis team has made changes to a pair of upcoming matches as the Storm begin the stretch run of the spring season.
Due to the threat of rain later in the day Thursday, April 13, the Iowa Conference match between the Storm and Coe has been moved up to a 3:30 p.m. start at Buxton Tennis Complex.
The regular season finale against Central has moved from Saturday, April 29 to Thursday, April 27 in order to avoid conflicts with Simpson's commencement activities. Start time is set for 3:30 p.m. from Buxton Tennis Complex.
The Storm (5-10, 0-4 Iowa Conference) are looking to snap a four-match losing streak when they take on the Kohawks on Thursday. Simpson is 5-8 during the spring season but is still in search of its first conference win after losses to Luther (9-0), Buena Vista (7-2), Nebraska Wesleyan (9-0) and Wartburg (9-0).
Thursday's match against Coe begins a stretch of four consecutive home matches to close the season.
