• Record of 150-103-32 (61-39-15 A-R-C) in first 15 seasons
• Became the winningest coach in school history in 2022, surpassing Aziz Haffar who recorded 127 wins from 1995-2004
• Tallied his 100th career victory on Sept. 25, 2019 against Saint Mary's and his 150th career win at Buena Vista on Oct. 18, 2025
• Has guided Simpson to the conference tournament each year at the helm, with eight semifinal appearances
• Has coached the Storm to eight, 10-win seasons
• Has gone 14-0-1 in season-opening matches and 13-1-1 in home openers
• Led the Storm to a 16-4-2 mark in 2019 to tie the program record for wins in a season (1999 and 2000)
• Has coached the top two point scorers and goal scorers in school history (Mitchell White, 2011-14 and Garrett Pochop, 2014-17)

• 2022: boasted the highest overall win percentage in the conference (.711) for the third time in the last six seasons... ranked second in the league in goal differential (20), goals scored (44), points (120), assists (32), shots (345) and shots on goal (150)... checked in No. 7 in the first United Soccer Coaches Region IX rankings of the year after starting the season 4-1-0
• 2021: earned the No. 2 seed in the conference tournament, the highest seed since 2001
• 2019: collected 16 victories to tie the program mark for wins in a season... earned fifth straight third-place finish in the conference... had three players selected to an all-region team in the same year for the first time since 2000... posted 11 shutouts, which ties the program record from 1997... went 9-1-1 at Buxton Stadium... spent four weeks ranked No. 10 in the United Soccer Coaches North Region rankings

Before Simpson

• Amassed a 110-25 record in eight seasons as a high school coach 
• Led the Ankeny boys to the Iowa High School Class 2A State Championship in 2007 and a No. 7 national ranking from the NSCAA
• Three-time CIML Central Conference Coach of the Year

Playing Career

• Starred as a goalkeeper at Luther College from 1999-2002
