LINCOLN, Neb. -- The American Rivers Conference hosted the third round of the men's golf championships on Friday in Lincoln, Neb. at Hillcrest Country Club. Simpson currently sits in ninth after two rounds of play since the second round was cancelled due to weather.
As a team, the Storm shot a score of 329, a stroke better than Wartburg on day three. Nathan Eaton fired a 78 to pace the team and tied for 13th today and has a total score of 164. Austin Hronich currently leads the team with a 163 after charting an 83 this afternoon.
Blake Bender is two strokes shy of Hronich with a 165 and tallied an 83 on day three. Lucas Hemphill stayed close to his teammates with an 85 to put his total score at 187. Zach Kreider shot the team's on 90-plus score with a 93.
Simpson returns to the links tomorrow with a 9 a.m. start to wrap-up the A-R-C Men's Golf Championships.
