A 1999 graduate, Head helped Simpson to two IIAC Championships and a runner-up finish in the NCAA Tournament in 1997. He earned Second Team All-America honors in 1997 and first team honors as a senior in 1998, while earning all-conference honors three times. Head graduated with a bachelor’s degree in sports administration before earning a bachelor’s in education from Simpson in 2002. Head returned to Simpson as an assistant coach from 2001 to 2006, before spending three years as the offensive coordinator and offensive line coach at NAIA Hastings College. Head is now an assistant football, assistant track and field and head wrestling coach at Doniphan-Trumbull High School in Doniphan, Neb. He also teaches physical education for grades 7-12. Clint and his wife, Andria, have two daughters: Jordan (5) and Sydney (10 months).
